As the magic book called childhood closed, reality hit like a rude slap. A sudden need arose to shift from all things admired and learnt, to all things practical. In the last few years, I went from place to place one wise one to the next. They said many things about being practical most of all, that it’s about protecting self.

To be love, What does that even mean? I found and explored an array of approaches. Although I didn’t know it then, I was the subject of my own theories. I became a womanly woman, a student and a sponge, a teacher who is ‘mostly’ grounded, an artist, a child with no care, a child with some care, an old lady.
I've realised that I'm forever going to be a vessel, half empty or half full. I'm half empty because I rush mindlessly. With half hearted efforts , I live life carelessly . I'm caught in the bahyadambar, the show of devotion and love instead of actually living life.
